Boots

Boots was born 1/4/18 and is training to hopefully one day be a service dog for a veteran or first responder. Boots love to work and she loves to play. Her favorite game is tug (with her favorite toy, a stuffed goat!) and really loves to sun herself in the grass. Boots is really enjoying her outings, and just had her first restaurant experience where she was a super star. During free play, she is super comical and tries to always keep you laughing.

Halligan

This is Halligan. He was born on 11/23/17 and has been in training with BASK since we got him at 8 weeks old in January of this year. He likes to work, go for walks, play and cuddle in anyone’s lap. He enjoys going on socialization outings such as grocery shopping, visiting the Newton Police Department, Lowes and Home Depot and he recently took in his first live band while attending the annual Mansfield Animal Shelter fund raiser. We are hoping that Halligan will be placed as a service dog for a veteran or first responder in 2019.

Lukas

My name is Lukas I am a service dog puppy in training through BASK. I just turned 6 months old. When we are out and about people are amazed how well behaved I am for a puppy. As soon as my vest comes on I know it’s working time and I am on my best behavior. I currently live with 4 other dogs and my best friend is McGuire a German Shepherd. I love to work, go shopping, snuggle, play with my roommates when it’s free time and eat. He will be placed as a service dog by 2019.

The Perfect Dog

Poodle's are the perfect dog for everyone. The high level of intelligence and ability to interact with other dogs, kids and visitors makes them the perfect family dog.

Selective Breeding

We health test our breeding age poodles for the following; OFA hips, OFA elbows, thyroid, & eye CERF. Our show dogs are sometimes tested further as a formality. Our poodles come from healthy, health tested lineage dating back many generations.

We picked up Winston (born 1/4/18 to Hank and Marlo) on 3/11. Winston demonstrates eagerness to please and loves to spend time training. Lee (and family) do such a great job socializing their pups that Winston acclimated to our household of 3 cats and a 6 year old labradoodle within hours! He is a very loving little guy and clearly had a great start at Berkshire Poodles!
Kimberly Green
I picked up my Polly on 1/13. Could not have made a better choice in breed of dog and breeder. After only a little over 2 weeks she has blossomed into such a sweetheart. She not only knows her name and comes when called but understands what “no” means(at least 90% of the time!). She has continued to amaze me with her intelligence. She was going in and out of crate after 3 days and now I have her actually jumping up at string of bells on door and barking to go out. She has not had an accident in the house in over 5 days. Thank you Lee, for such a wonderful companion.

We picked our poodle up yesterday and drove her 4 1/2 hours home and she was perfect! She walked on the leash pretty much like she had been doing it all her life! Got her home and she adapted so quickly! What an awesome pup! Lee and his wife were so kind and accommodating we couldn't ask for a better transition! Would recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a great poodle! They obviously love their dogs!

We really had a good experience with Lee and his father in regards to picking out our puppy and having the information and local references we needed about her health and care. She was an adorable puppy and has turned into a well behaved loving member of the family. She's a beautiful dog too and gets compliments everywhere we go.
Ginny
Our Pally, now nine months old, is a delight in every way. She is smart, curious and very affectionate. She is never aggressive with anyone, human or canine; she just loves to be companionable and learn new things about the world. She has one weakness: socks. But if you keep your sock drawer closed, she is a practically perfect poodle.
